How much do they cost to hire?
This depends on the number of loo units you need. It also depends on
how far your venue is from our depots and whether your event is to be
held at a peak time of year. Please contact us for a quotation specific
to your event.
What facilities do I need to provide at the venue?
Water: The luxury loos that we supply are fully self-contained. They
come with their own fresh water tank. For events over multiple days the
units may need to be serviced which can be carried out by our gulley
service.
Electric: The loos require a 13amp electricity supply (one for each
trailer unit). Nothing else should be allowed to run of the same socket
for the duration of your event. If you do not have access to mains
electricity on site we can advise on the provision of a suitable
generator.
Drainage: As the loos are fully self-contained, there is no need for
any drainage facility on site.
Access to the site: Your intended site should be easily accessible, and
as flat as possible. However, the loos are quite manoeuvrable and we will
always do our best to site it exactly where you want it and to make up
any height difference during installation. If you think that your site
may cause problems then please alert us at the time of your booking
enquiry and we will be able to conduct a site visit if necessary.
Do the loos need servicing during my event?
For a typical event such as a wedding or private party that lasts for
no more than 12 hours, the loos will not require any servicing. However,
if your event occurs over several days or you are hosting an event with
very large numbers of guests then servicing on site may be necessary.
This can be discussed at the time of your enquiry.
Can you provide an attendant service?
Yes, we can provide one or more attendants depending on the size of
your event. Our attendants are smartly dressed and have a good technical
knowledge in the unlikely event that problems arise on site. Their main
duty is usually to keep the facilities in pristine condition throughout
the event.
How will the loos arrive on site?
The loos are trailer units that look like mobile food vans with the
Party Low line range being like a large extended caravan. They are
delivered and collected using a 4x4 vehicle.
When will the loos arrive on site?
Your delivery and installation time can be discussed at the time of
your booking. Usually the loos will arrive one or two days prior to your
event at an agreed time. If you require delivery further in advance this
should be stated during the booking process.
Can the loos be integrated into my marquee?
Yes, it is quite common for us to provide facilities that are built
into your marquee. The marquee company will be responsible for the
structure surrounding the loos and you should discuss your requirements
with them. Please note that in these situations delivery of the loos
should be timed to coincide with the erection of the marquee.
How do wheelchair users gain access to the facilities?
Only our Special Needs facility is suitable for use by wheelchair
users. Please state at the time of your enquiry whether these facilities
will be required.
The facilities contain automatic air fresheners and a sweet smelling
chemical is used in the loos themselves. Providing the loos are not used
in excess of their stated use then there should be no unpleasant smell at
all.
What do the units need to run?
All we need is power, a 13amp socket will do. If you are hiring a
generator then that is okay as well, as we can connect to a standard
16amp supply on a c-form socket. Access to a water supply is sometimes
helpful, depending on the event, but is not essential. However, these are
details we will go through with you before you commit to hiring a unit.
Will I need to provide anything for the unit, other than power?
No, all units come fully stocked with toilet paper, hand towels, soap
etc and are ready to use once set up on site.
How do you deliver your units?
We only hire out self-contained towed trailer units that can be easily
positioned. Your unit(s) will be delivered by a Land Rover Discovery 3.
If you have any specific requirements or concerns about the positioning
of your facilities or simply want to discuss your options then please do
not hesitate to contact us.
What if there is a technical problem on site?
It would be foolish to suggest that anything mechanical is always
going to be 100% reliable. However, all our units are less than 3 years
old and do not leave our depot until they have been fully prepared and
tested. In the unlikely situation that you do experience a blockage, then
either the fully trained attendant on site will deal with it (if you have
opted for that) or we have a 24/7 helpline through which you will be able
to speak directly to a trained technician. Should that fail to resolve
the situation then we will send out a technician to attend to the issue
on site.
